The difference in Monday & Tuesday...

This is what Monday looked like... I was exhausted and looked so rough.

This is what Tuesday looked like... I felt more rested and had time to do my hair and makeup!

Big difference!
Mondays are rough for Tabbie!! LOL!!
This past Monday was a rough one...I looked really rough and was really exhausted!! That's what Monday exhaustion looks like. Ha!

Weekend Update...

Mr. Wonderful and I had a great weekend. Here's how it went down.

Friday night we went to visit friends and got to spend time with our little "nephew" Logan. He is three months old this week. We had a great time just hangin out and watchin the Food Channel and Baby Einstien. Here are a few shots from our Friday night.

Logan is the sweetest, cutest, most adorable and cuddly baby. I love this lil guy and am so glad to be called Aunt Tabbie or Aunt Tabitha.

This is what Baby Einstein does to them...they were intently watching.

So sweet.

Saturday I had a lunch date with Neesie at Olive Garden. It was so fun. When we got out of our cars I realized we both had put on the exact same shirt!! So of course we had to take pictures. We had a great lunch and a great time getting to hang out and spend time together and chat. We did great with our eating limiting ourselves to only one breadstick each and ordering sauce on the side and ordering off the low fat menu. I am so proud of Neesie and the weight she has lost even in a stressful time in her life. She is doing such a great job and I am so excited that she is down a size in pants!! Awesome!! We had a really great time at lunch. I love her.

After my awesome lunch date I went home to nap. I really love naps.
Saturday evening Mr. Wonderful and I went on a date. We haven't been out in a while except to go to the gym so it was nice to go out to eat and to a movie. We went to Texas Roadhouse, we had a coupon that we have been waiting to use. Then we went to see the movie Knowing. That was definately an intense movie. Then we headed to the gym to work out. It was a nice night out. I sure do love this man. And look how absolutely amazing he looks in this picture we took before our date. I am such a lucky girl.

This is one of my favorite pictures that we have taken!!
Sunday was a great day as well. We did breakfast for our Sunday School class. Neesie, Dad, and I made Cinnamon squares and Sister Shubert's pigs in a blanket. Mr. Wonderful brought drinks. Our friend Stacey brought biscuits and sausage. We had a feast and it was so good. It was family day so there was no Children's Church so we were all in big church and got to all worship together.
After service we had our annual KOR fundraiser - A dessert auction!! It went good and I actually cheated and had tastes of two yummy desserts. I wasn't going to but I just couldn't resist. I had Ms. Sally's Punch Bowl Cake - this incredible Strawberry Shortcake Dessert - OH MY - it's my favorite. And I had Ms. Christy's homemade Cheesecake - it was delightful.
Sunday afternoon we practiced drama with the kids. I can't wait to see their human video come together. Then we practiced the generation human video and I spent some time working on my solo part. I am so not excited to have a solo part. But I am doing it anyway. I am terrified! But it will be powerful!!
Sunday evening Mr. Wonderful and I watched Bolt with my parents. I did fall asleep through some of it (drama practice wore me out) but it was a really cute and funny movie and we had a good time hanging with my parents. They are so funny and just dealing with so much right now, so it was nice to hang out and watch a fun movie together.
Then of course Mr. Wonderful and I headed to the gym to work out. Then on to the grocery store to prepare for the 3 day diet we are on. We are trying to pull off as much weight as possible these last two weeks of the competition.

***********************************
Stay tuned for a Before and Now post.
Mr. Wonderful and I have really been working hard at the gym and our weight competition ends in two weeks. After our competition is over I will do a post called Before and Now to show the results of our weight loss. It won't be before and after because we will not yet be through with our weight loss journey. I will do a before and after when we reach our goals. I am super proud of the work we have put in and the weight we have lost. I am especially proud of Mr. Wonderful he is really doing great.

Today...

I am just plain exhausted.

I wanted so badly to stay under my electric blanket this morning and just not move all day. I had a day like that recently and I probably do not need to get too used to that.

It's Monday and cold and doesn't that just spell out...stay in bed under the blanket. Um yes I think it does. Ha.

Ok well sorry not much of a post but I am slammed and exhausted so multi-tasking is not coming naturally at this moment.

I hope you all have a fantastic day and soak in all God has. I intend to think on God today and His GREATNESS.

Happy Monday readers!

Growing up.

All of a sudden it's hit me...Growing up is really happening...

I am in awe of all the things that are happening.

I got a message from Lydia. She was my best friend the last couple years of high school. She just got married August of last year and now she is going to be a new mommy. She is due in October.

Misty my best friend growing up and especially through the last years of high school just had a beautiful baby boy and is married to the man of her dreams.

I too have met the man of my dreams and am looking forward to a life with him.

It's like all of a sudden I realize we are grown up. Here we are all grown up, seeing our dreams coming true.

I remember talking about our dreams growing up.

Misty is truly married to the man of her dreams. I remember talking about the families we wanted to have when we grew up on the trampoline. And now she is married to a wonderful Godly man and they have a beautiful little baby boy and she has begun the family she has always dreamed of having. It makes me cry because I am so happy that her dreams are coming true and even better than she could have ever imagine because she how has Christ as the center of her life.

Lydia has wanted to be a mommy her whole life. I cried when she told me she is expecting because I know this something she has always wanted and waited for. And I am so excited for her. I am so proud her dreams are finally coming true. I am so happy that tears are spilling down my face.

And as for me well I cry often and thank God everyday that one of my dreams is coming true. I dreamed of the family I wanted my whole life. Misty and I would lay on her trampoline and talk about the family we wanted and Lydia and I would talk while driving to work together or in her room watching tv about the families we wanted someday. And now God has brought me that man I am going to marry and one of my dreams is coming true.

I am just really in awe and realizing that our dreams are here they are now. We are all grown up and starting our lives and seeing our dreams come to reality. I am so overwhelmed with it all.

Just yesterday I received a message about our upcoming 10 year high school reunion. I was reading classmates profiles and catching up on their lives and looking to see who was married and who had kids and what they have been up to these past 10 years. But today it all just hit me. We are grown. We are adults. Now is our time, or beginning, our dreams are now coming true. It's amazing to be at this point. It's amazing to remember talking about it as kids and now to be here living it. What an awesome moment.

What is more amazing is that my dreams are better than they ever were because I now know my Savior and Creator. The dreams that are becoming reality are much sweeter because He is in control of my life and He has a better plan than I ever had or ever could have had. Life is sweeter. Life it happening.

It's all beginning for us and happening for us now. We are not past the years of dreaming, now our dreams will just be changing as we dream of weddings and babies and careers and how our babies will grow up. Our dreams will be less about ourselves and more about the families we are building. Wow.

I'm Grown Up. We are Grown Up.

I couldn't be more excited about everything that is happening.

Random Musings...

By request from my bloggy friend Lindsey at Learning to be a Wife...here are my random musings...

* I loved loved loved this from Lindsey at Learning to be a Wife so I wanted to share it here as well...this is so true and good information to know...
A woman is stuck in the mud and the man is trying to fix the situation by grabbing sticks to help pull her out, etc. The woman is crying out and the man is desperately trying to rescue her. Afterall, this is man's instinct - to rescue, to fix. Finally, the woman yells: "I just want you to jump in the mud with me!!!" Women want our men to crawl into that ugly mud pit and sympathize with us.

* It's really awesome to have blog friends...even if it is a little weird.

* Is having blog friends any weirder than having friends on Myspace you don't know. NO I don't think so. I love having blog friends.

* I am lookin so rough today.

* I am excited to get to visit my best friend tonight.

* I burned 600 calories at the gym last night!!!

* I disagree with who went home on AI last night. Gggrrr

* I got my favorite treadmill at the gym last night.

* I am already starting to get some color from the few times I have gotten to be in the sunshine!! Yay!!

* I am ready to get back below 170 lbs and stay there. Gggrrr

* I am so glad it is Friday!

* I just found out one of my friends from high school is going to be a Mommy!!! I am so excited!! Congratulations Lydia & Coung!!!

Have a great weekend!!

Great Day

My day off yesterday really was just what I needed.

Want to know what I did...

NOTHING.

I slept in till 10:40ish, go up showered, went and got a bad haircut.

Came home crawled back into bed and cuddled with my kitty all day watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition, What Not To Wear, 10 Years Younger, and Supernanny while it rained outside.

I got up around 4:00 and got ready for church.

It was so nice just to be able to slow down and rest for a while. It was a quiet and peaceful day and I really needed it.

Church last night was great. I just love to tarry in the presence of the Lord. And before bed I got in some much much much much overdue study time and prayer with the Lord.

I have been REALLY slacking in my devotional time lately and it's unacceptable. Completely unacceptable.

What am I supposed to give out if I am not pouring stuff in. How am I supposed to handle the stresses that come in life if I am not DAILY before the Lord seeking His face and His strength and will.

I also got in a quick mani & pedi before bed.

My Heavenly Father is so gracious to supply just what we need when we need it. I am so thankful for His unconditional love and mercy showered on me daily. I do not deserve it but what He gives has nothing to do with me being deserving, I am so thankful.

And now it's Thursday and tomorrow is Friday - Yipee!! I get to go visit my best friend and lil nephew tomorrow night.

This is Logan my lil nephew...he is so adorable and I can't wait to see him agian!

And Saturday is looking to be a day spent at home sleeping in and cleaning. And Sunday is one of my favorite events of the year. New Life Bucks Dessert Auction!! So much fun, except this year I don't get to eat the desserts. O'well skinniness will be better than that!!!

Have a great day.

Off Day Post..

I totally have this scheduling posts thing down! Yay!

I am off work today as you read this. Probably sleeping, getting my hair cut, or lounging around my lil apartment taking a much needed lazy day break.

This will hopefully be one of the last unpaid off days I have, as business has gradually been picking back up. I am ever so thankful. I can't wait to see regular paychecks again. I will miss the days off though.

So I have been debating about my hair for weeks now. Made several appointments only to have to cancel them for one reason or another. I am not entirely sure what I will get done to my hair, but hopefully it will be good. Just a trim? Trim and Thinned? Cut the longest layer off? I don't know. I am still growing it out. AH!! Lol, we shall see.

Also I have finally gotten below 170lbs! This week is the week I will get below and stay below and NEVER go back!! I keep gradually getting closer to my goal and I am thrilled. Mr. Wonderful and I have been really commited at the gym, and really working hard. He has done SO well, he's already lost 15lbs. I am hoping he will have a big week this week too. He is in second place in our work Biggest Loser competition, I would love to see him win!!!

I am wearing a new dress today and have gotten a few compliments on it. That makes me feel good. I think in a couple of weeks my dresses will look even better.

The hunt for a new cell phone: So I have been on the hunt for a new cell phone for a while now. I have been researching and asking quesions. I want to invest in a really nice phone that will last a while and that I will love and help keep me organized. I have it somewhat narrowed down. I was very close to getting an iPhone...we I thought I was close to getting an iPhone but the price listed turned out to be something different than would actually apply to me. In other words that thing was way too expensive for me to afford. I am asking for money for my birthday to help get a nice new phone, otherwise I can't afford much at all. Here are my choices as of right now...if you have any thought or comments please share as next month is when I will actually be getting a new phone...I have AT&T as a service provider...

The Pantech Duo

The Palm Centro

The Blackjack II

The Samsung Propel

Thoughts and comments on these and other cell phones WELCOME...this has been a difficult decision for me. I also like the Blackberry but do not like the monthly data charges you have to pay. I know someone with the Palm Centro and they LOVE it and I know someone with the Pantech Duo and they LOVE it and I know someone with the Blackjack II and they LOVE it. Help!
